On September 17, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Militia Colonel General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police General Vladimir Aleksandrovich Kolokoltsev, as part of the Transnational Security Forum in Lianyungang, People's Republic of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the fight against transnational organized crime, terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and cybercrime, as well as labor migration and improving the conditions and legal status of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand their cooperation.
