On September 18, 2025, as part of the Transnational Security Forum, held from September 16–19 this year in Lianyungang, People's Republic of China, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, met with the Commissioner General of the Federal Police of Ethiopia, Demelash Gebremihail.
During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation in combating transnational organized crime, terrorism, extremism, and cybercrime, as well as in the search for internationally wanted individuals through the International Criminal Police Organization «Interpol».
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand their cooperation.
