During the operational-search activities, militia officers detained a 67-year-old resident of Istaravshan on suspicion of organizing or maintaining a brothel.
The suspect worked as a security guard at the Avicenna LLC sanatorium in Istaravshan and on August 17, 2025, at approximately 22:30, in one of the rooms of this sanatorium, he provided all the conditions for an intimate meeting with a 36-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, residents of Istaravshan, for which she received a reward of 150 somoni from them.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 1 of Article 239 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
