A 42-year-old local resident contacted the DMIA-1 for the Sino district of Dushanbe, reporting that a 30-year-old resident of the Khovaling district, having gained his trust, fraudulently gained his trust between April 2024 and May 2025 and took from him, by bank transfer, 4 vehicles: a “Lexus ES-350” worth 120 thousand somoni, a “Toyota Camry-5” worth 220 thousand somoni, a “BMW” worth 370 thousand somoni, an “Excavator” worth 817 thousand 500 somoni, and 195 thousand somoni in cash, for a total of one million 892 thousand 500 somoni, and promised to return the money in the near future, but did not return the promised money.
An investigation is underway into this incident.
