Donish Street, opposite the Khavopaymo restaurant, hit a pedestrian, Khodjiev Shirin, born in 1943, a resident of the city, who was crossing the road from right to left.
As a result, the elderly pedestrian died in the hospital from his injuries.
Also, on June 28, 2025, at approximately 11:50, the driver of a Volkswagen, driven by a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kholboev Muhammadi Maribzhanovich, born in 1960, a resident of the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, while driving on the 332.2nd kilometer of the Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanak highway, located on the territory of the rural jamoat D. As a result, the car was thrown back, the driver drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Mercedes-Benz, which was moving from the B. Gafurov district towards the Matchinsky district, driven by Urazbekov Vohid Khakimovich, born in 1985, a resident of the city of Istiklol.
As a result of this road accident, the following drivers and passengers died at the scene:

6. Passenger of the Mercedes-Benz, minor Urazbekov Dzhavlonbek Vokhidovich, born in 2010, citizen of the Russian Federation.
7. Passenger of the Mercedes-Benz, Urazbekova Sumaya Vokhidovna, born in 2017, citizen of the Russian Federation.
In addition, as a result of this traffic accident, the driver of the Toyota Corolla, Mukhiddinov Zh.S., the passenger of this vehicle: Mukhiddinzoda Anas Nuronshoh, born in 2017, a resident of the Matcha district, and the passenger of the Volkswagen, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kholbaev Dzhurabek Makhamadievich, born in 1990, received serious bodily injuries and were taken to the hospital. On June 28, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the driver of a Mercedes-Benz 200, Khanifov Makhmadali Nozimjonovich, born in 1993, a resident of the J. Balkhi district, while driving on the Dushanbe-Nizhniy Pyanj highway, lost control of the vehicle and hit a minor pedestrian, Odinaev Muhammad Khochikurbanovich, born in 2010, a resident of the same district. As a result, the minor Odinaev M.Kh. received serious bodily injuries and died in the hospital.
An investigation is underway into the facts of the accident.
