During the operational-search activities, militia officers detained a 38-year-old resident of Dushanbe on suspicion of theft or embezzlement
The suspect worked as a driver at “Green United Group” LLC from 2009 to December 2024 and, on behalf of the management, issued and registered two Toyota Camry cars in his name.
The suspect, in turn, used these cars to carry out the company's business and, for his own personal purposes, then, under the pretext of non-payment of wages, without the permission of the company's management, sold the said cars, which were on the balance sheet of the enterprise, to other persons for a total of 270 thousand somoni, without paying the specified amount to the company's treasury, spent the money on personal needs.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
