During the course of operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 23-year-old resident of the J. Balkhi district on suspicion of committing murder.
The above-mentioned, on April 13, 2025, met with a 39-year-old local resident at the central market, asked to lend him 15,000 somoni and gave him his plastic card number.
On April 19, 2025, at approximately 11:25, after 13,780 somoni were credited to the suspect's account and an SMS message was received on his mobile phone, in order to implement a pre-conceived plan, at approximately 16:30, he took rubber gloves and a lighter purchased in advance from the apartment, bought 1.5 liters of gasoline at a gas station, then called and sent an SMS message of gratitude to the victim's numbers.
Then he met with the victim and offered to go hiking in the mountains and relax at the same time. Having bought ready-made snacks and drinks at the market, the two of them went on vacation.
The attacker, in order to carry out his criminal plan, entered into an argument with the victim, put on the gloves he had with him and struck him several times with his hands on the head, face and other parts of the body.
As a result, the victim fell to the ground from the blows, and while he was unconscious, he was thrown into a pit 5-6 meters deep.
Then they put partially eaten food under the victim's body, and in order to hide the crime he had committed, they poured gasoline on the victim's body and set it on fire.
Thus, on May 10, 2025, at approximately 11:30 am, the body of a 39-year-old man with burn marks was found on the hills of the village of Khalevard in the Balkhi district.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
