A 38-year-old resident of the capital filed a complaint with the DMIA-1 of the Sino district of Dushanbe, in which he reported that on December 24, 2024, when he was on A. Gulomov Street in Dushanbe, a 25-year-old resident of the capital, having gained his trust, took 200 thousand somoni from him, promising to return the money by January 2, 2025, but did not return the money.
Also, as a result of operational and investigative activities, police officers detained a 62-year-old resident of Dushanbe, who works as deputy director of Ramshed LLC, as a suspect in committing fraud. The suspect, with the aim of taking possession of someone else's property through fraud and abuse of trust, entered into a contract for the sale and purchase of a small-sized concrete plant worth 510 thousand somoni from a 54-year-old resident of the capital, promising to pay the money in the coming days, but after purchasing the small-sized concrete plant, he sold it to another person and spent the money received for personal purposes. A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
