On March 26, 2025, at approximately 16:20, the driver of a Hyundai Porter, a man, born in 1997, a resident of the Khuroson district, while driving from the city of Bokhtar to the city of Dushanbe, lost control and hit a pedestrian, a woman,  born in 1950, a resident of the Khuroson district, who was crossing the road from the right side to the left side.
As a result, the woman received serious bodily injuries, where she subsequently died in the hospital.
An investigation is underway into the accident.
