On March 16, 2025, at about 16:30, the driver of the Daewoo-Sielo vehicle, a man  born in 1998, a resident of the Kushoniyon district, while moving from the direction of G. Bokhtar towards the rural jamoat of Zargar, Kushoniyon district, lost control and crashed into a cyclist, a man, born in 1963, a local resident.
Subsequently, the cyclist died in the hospital due to the serious bodily injuries he received.
Also on March 16, 2025, at approximately 17:00, the driver of the Opel-Astra, a man, born in 1985, resident of B. Gafurov, while driving from Istaravshan towards Dushanbe on the Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanak highway, in the Shahriston district, lost control and collided with an Opel Zafira, driven by man, born in 1985, resident of Istaravshan. Unfortunately, the driver of the “Opel” vehicle and his passenger the woman, born in 1956, resident of Istaravshan, died on the spot. The driver of the “Opel-Zafira”, a man, and his passengers: the four women, and one man, born in 2004, residents of Istaravshan were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. An investigation is underway into the facts of the accident.
