A 43-year-old woman, local resident filed a complaint with the DMIA-1 for the Rudaki district that on March 16, 2025, at approximately 20:40, an unknown person entered her residential building by force, threatening an 8-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy with a knife, and began to extort money and gold items. At that moment, her sister entered their house, and when she saw this incident, she began to call for help.
As a result, the suspect fled the spot of the crime.
During the operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 46-year-old resident of the Rudaki district, previously convicted under Article 249 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, on suspicion of committing this crime.
An investigation is underway into this fact.
