During the course of operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 35-year-old resident of Dushanbe on suspicion of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.
On March 8, 2025, the suspect, while in his apartment with a 29-year-old woman, resident of the capital, used “methamphetamine” (a white crystalline substance), and as a result, out of jealousy and mistrust, beat her.
As a result, the victim received grievous bodily harm and died in the hospital on March 11, 2025.
An investigation is underway into this incident.
