02 March 2025, at approximately 20:30, the driver of a “Toyota-Estima”, a man, born in 1956, a resident of Dushanbe, while driving along the Bukhara Street highway from Istaravshan Street to Rudaki Avenue, opposite the “Antepkhan” restaurant building in the Shokhmansur district of the capital, fatally ran over a woman, born in 1971, a resident of the capital, who was sweeping the road in the middle of the above-mentioned highway.
As a result, the woman, was taken to the hospital by the driver himself and died on the same day.
An investigation is underway into the accident.
