On February 16, 2025, at approximately 18:00, the driver of a Daewoo-TIKO car, born in 1999, a resident of the city of Tursunzade, while driving along the Gissar-Dushanbe highway in the village of Choryakkoron in the Rudaki district, lost control and hit a minor pedestrian, girl, born in 2019, a resident of the Rudaki district.
As a result, the girl, in serious condition, was taken to the hospital by the driver themselves, having received various injuries, where she died in the hospital an hour later.
An investigation is underway into the accident.
