As a result of operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 51-year-old man from the Asht district on suspicion of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
The detainee, on February 11, 2025, at approximately 23:50, while in the residential building of his fellow villager, a 45-year-old resident of the Asht district, quarreled with each other. Then the 45-year-old man hit the suspect on the head with a stick, as a result of which he became furious, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim once in the left hand.
As a result, the 45-year-old man received a fatal stab wound and died in the hospital.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 3 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
