On February 6-7, 2025, a training seminar on the topic "Improving judicial practice in considering criminal cases related to human trafficking and ensuring justice for victims of human trafficking" was held in the hall of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the initiative of the Interdepartmental Commission on Combating Human Trafficking.
The training seminar was attended by judges from the central regions and the Rasht region.
The training seminar was also attended by representatives of the International Organization for Migration, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, public organizations, as well as scientists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Tajik National University.
The purpose of this training seminar is to implement the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Combating Human Trafficking and Assistance to Victims of Human Trafficking", as well as international legal acts in the activities of law enforcement agencies of the country, including in the administration of justice when considering criminal cases related to human trafficking.
Conducting such training seminars with representatives of the judiciary helps to improve their legal knowledge.
It is worth noting that by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 2, 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is entrusted with ensuring the activities of the Interdepartmental Commission on Combating Human Trafficking. The Commission is headed by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant General of Militia Alamshozoda Abdurakhmon Alamsho. 
It is also planned to hold similar training seminars in other cities and regions of the region.
