A 28-year-old resident of Penjikent filed a complaint with the DMIA-1 for the Shokhmansur district of Dushanbe, stating that on January 30, 2025, an unknown person entered his workplace, located in an unfinished construction building of “Promstroy” CJSC, stole construction materials from there and disappeared in an unknown direction.
The amount of damage was 9,700 somoni.
As a result of operational-search activities, a 39-year-old resident of the Varzob district by militia officer was detained on suspicion of committing theft.
Also, during other operational-search activities, a 34-year-old resident of Dushanbe, previously convicted under Part 2 of Article 248 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, was detained by militia on suspicion of committing theft. The suspect, having entered into a preliminary conspiracy with a 29-year-old local resident previously convicted under Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, broke into the apartment of a 43-year-old woman, resident of the capital stole cash money 32,000 somoni and fled.
An investigation is underway into this incident.
