A 40-year-old local resident, a representative of OOO "Sultoni Hakim", filed a complaint with the DMIA-1 for the Sino district of Dushanbe, stating that since November 2023, a 25-year-old young woman, resident of Dushanbe had worked for this company as a loader (supervisor) and during her work she had appropriated money collected in stores and spent it on her own needs.
As a result, OOO "Sultan Hakim" suffered particularly large material damage in the amount of 118 thousand 215 somoni.
Also, during the operational search activities, a 44-year-old resident of the Sangvor district was detained by militia officers on suspicion of embezzlement or misappropriation.
The above-mentioned person worked as the director of the State Forestry Institution of the Sangvor district from October 2018 to February 2024, during his work he appropriated 210 heads of cattle and two horses, in total amounting to 70 thousand 744 somoni, and, using his official powers, spent them in his own interests, by his actions caused particularly large damage to the state forestry institution of the Sangvor district. A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect in accordance with Part 2 of Article 245, paragraph “g” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
