On August 9, 2024, within the framework of the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the city of Minsk of the Republic of Belarus, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police General Vladimir Aleksandrovich Kolokoltsev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the fight against transnational organized crime, terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, cybercrime, as well as issues of labor migration, law enforcement, problem solving, improving the conditions and legal status of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation.
