Tajikistan strengthens international cooperation through Interpol
31The 19th conference of the heads of the National Central Bureaus (NCBs) of Interpol opened in the city of Lyon, France, with 300 participants from 136 countries. The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by the head of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, militia colonel Shahriyor Nazrizoda. One of the key moments of the participation of the Tajik delegation was a meeting with members of the board of the Jiminy Project, a global police communication system that ensures the secure exchange of information between law enforcement agencies of different countries in real time.
Along with this, as part of the conference, the head of the Interpol NCB in Tajikistan held a meeting with his Turkish colleague, during which the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. It was also noted that strengthening cooperation with colleagues from Turkey will increase the effectiveness of the fight against crime and ensure the inevitability of punishment for violators of the law.
The participation of the Tajik delegation in the 19th Interpol NCB conference demonstrates the country’s commitment to international cooperation in the fight against transnational crime. The meetings held and agreements reached contribute to strengthening the capacity of law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan and increasing the effectiveness of their work in combating international crime.
