The process of implementing the militia reform program
On February 7, 2024, as part of the militia reform, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of the Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, held a meeting with the acting Ambassador of the OSCE Office in Dushanbe, Mr. Jukka Tuononen.
During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro expressed gratitude to Mr. Jukka Tuononen for the mutually beneficial cooperation and provision of practical assistance in the process of militia reform and noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan is planning and implementing a number of necessary measures to fulfill the requirements of the “Action Plan for the Implementation of the Reform Program police for 2021-2025."
During the meeting within the framework of militia reform, the OSCE Office in Dushanbe presented the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with 10 units of «Damas» vehicles for mobile militia stations to receive applications and complaints from citizens in remote regions of the country.
