In 1994 he graduated from the Tashkent fire-technical specialized school, in 2003 also graduated the Khujand State University of Law, Business and Politics majoring in Jurisprudence.

On June 15, 2020, Umarzoda Bakhtiyor was appointed to the post of head of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, which he currently holds.
Began his career as an engineer in the Department of Fire Protection and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Office of Fire Protection and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Regional Executive Committee (now Sughd region) and worked in various positions of the state fire service.
He was awarded by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with medals, badges, certificates of honor, thanks, including medals "For meritorious service" I, II, III degrees, "Militia of Tajikistan", "85th anniversary of the militia of Tajikistan" and a badge "For excellent service."
